Under the above hypothesis, orthoexistence
is a material channel securing inter-existence exchange, as if
matter and energy were extruded from our existence to be transferred
to orthoexistence into another existence, and conversely by ways
unknown to us. Viewed at the limit, this would be the way in which
an existence, ours included, would emerge and vanish. Assuming
that orthoexistence is an new coordinate, or a channel of the
material world, in addition to the known coordinates of the existence
(three space coordinates and time) only renders the concept of
the material world more comprehensive in materialistic terms.
Since orthoexistence represents the profundities of the material
world, it should be endowed with specific properties under a fairly
elementary form, yet responsible for the emergence of existence
in their over-all complexity. Although orthoexistence is not within
the immediate scope of our senses, it may be deduced via philosophical
reasoning and experiments, and finally via physical and
informational experiments.
An increasingly deeper insight into the realm
of elementary particle physics might disclose increasingly queer
situations, for in a way we are approaching the coordinate of
the orthoexistence. The transition from classical mechanics to
quantum mechanics and most likely further to a more involved
"mechanics",which is expected to be grounded on informational
principles, may be regarded as an illustration of this idea.
By virtue of the orthoexistence hypothesis,
orthoexistence is a coordinate of the world. Additionally, under
the same hypothesis, a specific phenomenality of material nature
is introduced along this coordinate.
Hosts, even an infinity, of universe-existences
might emerge from orthoexistence. Let us now assume that only
one existence with started-ups and stop-overs were born. We have
seen that the stop-over "time" (Fig. 51) are meaningless.
Each universe-existence in the "succession" of such
existences may be governed by certain laws, and so different universe-existences
are governed by different laws. The diversity of the world would
then become apparent both within an universe-existence and by
all the possible universe-existences. Along its own coordinate,
orthoexistence begets existences. Each of these unfolds against
its own time but they appear as a permanence or as likely to be
achieved simultaneously. Orthoexistence cannot be said to be since
ever inasmuch as time is alien to it, but it is precisely for
this reason, i.e. because it appears as a permanence with respect
to any existence. The world appears to be infinite if viewed from
the eye of existence. Assuming a unique universe-existence, which
entails a succession of such existences, this is conducive to
a permanence of universe-existence with respect to the orthoexistence.
The two cases actually reduce to only one. The immediate step
is to recognize a multitude of universe-existences.
7. Then the world appears indeed qua
orthoexistence and universe-existences. The world contains an
energymatter which contained into orthoexistence might
be transposed into universe-existences according to the fundamental
laws of orthoexistence.
However, as soon as we raise the question
of laws, hosts of questions come up. The laws are the transformation,
motion and diversification rules of the world. But how are these
laws established, what is the substance they are inscribed in
and how are they carried by all that is material such that their
observance be on the safe side ? Let us assume that there exists
a way in which the laws generating an universe-existence from
the orthoexistence are inscribed. This means that the profundities
of the material world contain "substances" which are
not subject to some laws, but which have certain properties by
virtue of which they are likely to get laws. The energymatter
might be the material reservoir of the world, which could acquire
change and motion, the laws in a particular way. Hence, in the
profundities of the material world these exists a material crucible
in which the information necessary to the laws is prepared on
the ground of a material informational substance which will be
referred to as informatter. A new quality arises in the
phenomena between orthoexistence and an universe-existence: consciousness
and cognition. The world is essentially matter (energymatter,
informatter, substance, a.s.o.) and consciousness. In each
universe-existence there develop certain laws which such an existence
observes, but cognition and consciousness are only possible if
the deterministic laws are supplemented by probabilistic laws
and possibly by uncertainty laws, for it is only in this way that
a maximum of diversification, going as far as the conscience's
unrestricted right to creation, may be attained. Indeed, our social-cosmic
knowledge will make us understand so much of the world that we
may be able to "write the program" of the next existential
experiment. This would actually be the work of the world itself.
Consciousness is however carried by live devices of the world.
The living acquires this role and philosophical reason, and the
ultimate goal of society appears to be cognition, to shave a social-cosmic
cognition and maybe the programming of another existential experiment.
The subtleties inherent to the emergence of the living and of
the associated consciousness are to be accounted for by science.
That is why science has to investigate along two principal ways:
- along the orthoexistential coordinate of
the world, dilating on phenomena related to substance and energy,
to their conservation laws, informational phenomena and the way
in which the quantum world is generated;
- along the living line, with insight
into the basic phenomena of life and consciousness, of cognition.
Proceeding along these lines, we may righteously
ask whether in this long-standing search we shall come against
a conjunction of these lines in the principles of energymatter
and informatter.
While recognizing the necessity of cognition
and of consciousness in existence, we must nevertheless dilate
on the living in the broadest philosophical meaning, i.e. as a
substratum for cognition and consciousness. First, we have to
focus on the living qua individual, thinking of man as an individual
item. The living might become apparent as species and individuals,
as a manifestation law of the living, only in our existence, much
the same as laws like 1/r2
are only valid in our existence. The societies of the future will
increasingly be societies of cognition. The individual is an instance
of cognition and his periods of cognition furnish him an exquisite
harmony. The tragedy of his ephemeral life is pale if he is well
aware of the greatness of consciousness in the material world.
The consciousness of each is closely related
to the social consciousness. The individual consciousness is an
impulse, an irrepeatable, unique flare which vanishes with his
bodily life but leaves always something in the social consciousness.
From what is known, man hosts most of the world into himself if
referred to any other known living from or any other form of existence.
His informational and psychic properties might be, or might, involve
the informatter in a certain way.
May then man be connected to the orthoexistence
in a particular way ? And further on, may the coordinates of orthoexistence
be the means of an exchange among the elements of a given universe-existence
? If this were possible, then this exchange should occur in any
points in the universe, given that the orthoexistence is incompatible
with time, space and hence with propagation. This appears as if
by orthoexistence the whole universe were outside space and time,
knotted in a unique point. In this respect, one might righteously
ask whether there exist orthoexistence fields which arise in an
universe-existence at an infinite rate drive, which propagate
via orthoexistence instead of propagating in space and time ?
Accepting the coordinate of orthoexistence, like phenomena appear
to be virtually possible.
Could some physical, micro and macrocosmic
phenomena, and likewise biological phenomena be investigated using
like concepts ? Might mathematics and a new information theory
permit a study of phenomena beyond the scope of quantum mechanics
by employing the descriptions allowed by like concepts ?
These are some questions in search of the
profundities of the world we live in and cognize.
